The main reason for the changes arises from the Commonwealth Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (PPSA) which is a major new development in Australia’s legal framework. The PPSA will commence operation on 30 January 2012 and significantly changes the law about sales of plant and equipment on credit. The PPSA requires us to implement certain legal procedures to ensure that our rights are as they were prior to the introduction of the PPSA.

There is general information about PPSA at the government website www.ppsr.gov.au and your legal advisers should be able to provide further assistance in understanding the impact of this highly complex law.

Please note that in order to preserve our legal rights the PPSA will require us to register on the new PPS Register our interest in certain  sales made to our customers.

Ducted Systems – Air Conditioner
Ducted air conditioning is custom designed to air condition selected rooms of a house, office or other building. The indoor unit being mounted inside the ceiling space distributing conditioned air via ceiling outlets. This design allows zoning to control which rooms are conditied and which are not enabling enrgy efficiency.

Split Systems – Air Conditioner
